Solo Exhibition, 2024
In October 2024 Kim got invited to hold his solo exhibition at the Alliance Française in Cali, Colombia as part of the celebration of COP 16. The exhibition featured two bodies of works: 'Odyssey of Reconnection’ & ‘Nations of the Atlantic’. Each focussing on the connection between cultures and the environment. The exhibition launched on October 17 and is showcased until December 15 2024.
Solo Exhibition, 2019
In March 2019 Kim held his first solo exhibition titled ‘Born Out Of’. For this exhibition, he picked three specific bodies of work all focussing on the idea of identity and individuality. Each piece showcased presents a different approach to my practise, all focussing on the act of telling people’s stories through an appreciative, tolerate lens.
Imagenation Paris 2024
In May 2024 Kim was invited to co-exhibit his photograph ‘Forgotten Myths’ alongside other selected international talents in the international photo show ‘ImageNation Paris’, held at the Galerie Joseph Le Palais
1839 Awards
In May 2024 Kim was awarded Gold for the Color Photography Contest Award in the category ‘Travel’ with his series ‘Nations Of The Atlantic’.
Exposure One Awards
In May 2024 Kim was shortlisted for the People’s Vote Award running alongside their One Shot Award in the categories ‘Fashion & Beauty’ and ‘Portrait’ with his photograph ‘Crossroads’. He was awarded with an Honorable Mention.
